There are a wide range of accommodation options available to students while studying at UniSA, including student apartments, student hostels, residential colleges and private rental. The residential colleges are located in North Adelaide, within walking distance to the City. They include fully-furnished units with separate bedrooms, shared dining, bath and recreation facilities. Meals, as well as power, gas and water supply are provided. Students also benefit from the pastoral care and library facilities available here. Student hostels are located mostly in the suburbs and are a good option for independent living (though supervision is provided in some hostels). They are usually self-catering, but some of them do provide meals. These include fully-furnished units with separate bedrooms, shared large kitchens, dining, bathrooms and recreation facilities. Student apartments are located within walking distance to the University campuses. These are fully-furnished, self-catered apartments that make for comfortable independent living. Students are required to pay for their own utilities (power, gas and water). Information on private rental options can be accessed in the UniSA Rental Database and newspapers or by contacting real estate agencies and the newspapers. These privately- rented and self-catered houses may be unfurnished or fully-furnished, and can be shared with other tenants also.
